Principals Susan Alisberg and Ed Parker lead their team and work closely with every client to ensure their taste, budget, and schedule are met. While many firms can build a beautiful house, few make the experience of building as fun and effortless as Alisberg Parker.
Susan R. Alisberg is the founding partner of Alisberg Parker Architects. She graduated Cum Laude with a Fine Arts degree from Cornell University and then earned her Master’s Degree in Architecture from Columbia University.
Susan worked for several years for Skidmore Owings & Merrill in New York City before starting her own firm. She has over twenty-five years experience in the field of Architecture and Interior Design. With a background in fine arts, Susan is able to extend our services into Interior Design.
She lives and works in Greenwich and has served on the Board of Directors of the Greenwich Chapter of the American Red Cross and Room to Read. Susan is also a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture.
S. Edward Parker III joined Susan Alisberg in 1998 and became a partner in 2001, coinciding with the relocation of the firm to Old Greenwich.
Ed has worked as a builder and architect for over twenty years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Design from Clemson University and a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University Graduate School of Architecture where he won the James Gamble Rodgers Scholarship. While working with renowned sculptor Kent Bloomer as an ornartiste, he constructed projects in Reagan National Airport and Rice University.
He was a Lecturer at Yale University Graduate School of Architecture and is the Architect for the Khakum Wood Association in Greenwich, Connecticut. Ed is also a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture.
