This house combined the eclectic tastes of the Owner while still respecting the regional typology. A shingle style frame and asymmetrical volume used various motifs of West Coast Spanish, French Normand and Mediterranean styles. The local native stone and wood roof help the house grow out of the landscape. The house opens up towards a rolling grass lawn, a lake and the southern sun on the rear of the house. The walk out basement boasts a private office and open playroom. A brick groin vault creates a cozy den off the kitchen with glass arched view to the south.
