Todd's Point Old Greenwich Oceanfront Residential Architect
This house in on the site of the original Innis Arden Clubhouse which had undergone decades of poor renovations and additions. We were able to salvage the original front porch and the fireplace. Starting with these items we created a waterside shingle style house which commands views of Long Island Sound and Greenwich Cove on two sides. Every room in the house with the exception of the formal powder room has a view of the water. A stair tower anchors the termination of Shore Road and has an observation area at the top to enjoy 360 degree views of the water. The client wanted a house that transitioned nicely from the interior to the exterior while still conforming to flood plane and FEMA statutes. Porches and balconies on every side of the house help bring the outside in.
